I decided to try a new platform for my blog. In honor of this great event, for the next few posts, I will be working my way through the alphabet.

A is for April

Last April Josslin and I roadtripped to Idaho for my niece’s wedding. Kayla is about eight months younger than Joss, but they have been close since they were tiny. We loaded up on munchies and water, and hit the road. Since it was only early April, we knew that finding ourselves in snow was a definite possibility. Much to our delight……

Beautiful, yes? This is just off the highway along a pristine lake. What a treat!!

Unfortunately, the snow didn’t last long, and soon we were enjoying a warm, sunny spring day in the high Rockies.

Do we look related or what?

Goodbye snow!

Meindal, baby and Joss.

We stopped in Rexburg to visit with one of Joss’s good friends, and see her brand spankin’ new baby boy

– he was a doll and she looked like she hadn’t been pregnant 5 days before!

Kayla and her handsome groom

We were able to go to the LDS Idaho Falls Temple to watch Kayla be sealed for time and all eternity. It was such a wonderful blessing to see her make sacred covenants that will tie her to Geoff forever.  Josslin wasn’t able to go inside, but she waited outside and celebrated with us after the wedding. That evening we went to the reception, and got to visit with lots of family. I love watching neices and nephews get married the right way!!
